Avery's Dance Gala

This was Avery's first year taking dance. She really seemed to enjoy the class all year long but we still weren't sure she would enjoy performing in front of a lot of people on a big stage. We now know we don't have to worry about Avery "the diva" Tischner. She loved every bit of it: the costume, the props, having her hair and make-up done, and performing in front of an audience that clapped for her.

Every class at the gala danced to a theme of a different country. Her dance was called "Chinese Takeout" and she danced with fortune cookie props and giant, white Chinese take-out boxes. We will definitely sign her up again next year since she's already asking when she can go back to dance class and the gala has only been over for a few hours.
