Halloween

This year, the girls helped daddy carve pumpkins during the day. They took the seeds out of the pumpkin and separated them from the goo. They were both a little squeamish at first because of how slimy the innards were. Avery also helped daddy design the pumpkin faces and watched while he carved the features.

Later, the girls went trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. They dressed up as Dora and Boots this year and were a hit around the neighborhood. The pictures below show the girls in their costumes and the end products of the pumpkin carving. Both of the girls made it home with a ton of candy, which, of course, Casey and I raided immediately.
